In Under Two Weeks, 16,000 Cheaters Have Been Caught and Their Account Suspended
Apex Legends has gripped the world by storm seeing over 25 million downloads within the first week. However, a mass of cheaters has discovered ways to exploit the game. Respawn has announced 16,000 cheaters have been banned already. In a bid to further tackle the situation, Respawn needs your help in identifying these cheaters.

It has been less than two weeks since Apex Legends was launched to the world. Currently, in its infant stage, the team at Respawn Entertainment will have to overcome many problems. Stability, game bugs, server problems, exploits and cheaters.
With over 25 million downloads there are bound to be bugs in Apex Legends as the team are working around the clock to make server improvements and optimisation to cope with demands. The team also face outside users combing through the game files looking ways to exploit and cheat in Apex Legends. Due to all the bugs that are lying around, it is easier to exploit and enables users to cheat until the exploit is fixed and patched by the team.
Apex Legends team will experience many challenges trying to modify and update their code to prevent ways to stop cheaters. In a cat and mouse game, Apex is hoping to stay ahead of the game by reaching out to its users to assist identify cheaters.

Only by identifying cheaters can they grasp how the user has managed to exploit their game to enable them to cheat. Apex Legends team can update the game and patch the exploit preventing players cheating. However, there is no doubt there are other bugs and exploits ready to be exploited.
From Tuesday next week 19th February the team will start updating its users regularly on the current updates to try tackle each issue quickly and efficiently.
