Corrupted Areas have spawned shadow Stones all around the Fortnite map.

Consuming Shadow stones seemingly turns you into a faint shadow. Pressing the onscreen prompt you can phase forwards a short distance quickly.

Loot Lake

Once Fortnite Season 6 teaser was released we witnessed the return of the cube. Erupting from underneath Loot Lake Taking the center Island with it. The center of Loot Lake is now a festering Whirlpool with the cube holding the Island high into the air.

If you go near the center of the whirlpool it’ll lift you into the air and towards the floating island. Similarly, if you jump off the floating island you can redeploy your glider. (At least I could in a playground test.)  If you continue to fall toward the center of the whirlpool it will once again start to lift you in the opposite direction.
