Why has the Fortnite Battle Royale Skin ‘Zoey’ Been Disabled?
Many players logged onto Fortnite Battle Royale and took notice when they realized one of their favorite skins ‘Zoey’ had been disabled. Announcing on Twitter, Epic Games posted that they had found an issue with the Zoey outfit and have disabled it whilst they work on a fix. They did not, however, digress on what the issue was exactly.
Players then started to report that the Season 4 Battle Pass skin was suffering from a bug that sometimes made the Zoey Skin Invisible at certain distances. Only the skin would become invisible, in every occurrence any item that was held by the invisible skin Zoey was visible. With some claiming to still be able to see hands and feet.
A short video from Daniel Will on YouTube showcases this glitch in its entirety. Showing that only at certain distances did the glitch occur. A very strange bug indeed.
Zoey is a Season 4 Battle Pass skin that you received once reaching tier 47. Part of the Sweet tooth set which includes A Back Bling, A Lollipopper pickaxe, and a colorful glider. With the skin currently disabled, you can expect to see a lot more of her extravagant colors roaming around the battlefield once she has been re-enabled.
Epic Games have not given an ETA on when we can expect the skin to be enabled again, however they like to resolve issues as quickly as possible so let’s hope the wait won’t be too long, possibly as part of Fortnite patch 6.30 that’s expected either 30th or the 31st?
