A Chinese game company, NetEase is currently developing a new Harry Potter mobile game known as Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, coming to Android and IOS.
Players are heading back to Hogwarts as they embark on a magical journey, exploring the Wizarding World, collecting cards and combining magical spells in duels.
Learn different strategies by attending various classes, unlocking valuable spells and cards to help to defeat your opponents.
Unfortunately, there is currently no information on when users outside of China are able to pre-register for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened nor when the RPG card game will be released.
News of the game was unveiled on Twitter by Daniel Ahmad, announcing that Preregistration is available for the game in China.
From the images, it looks as if the cards you collect, determine specific types of spells and combinations you can perform in battles. In addition, there is a spell cost for each card so you will need to plan and strategize to build the optimum deck of cards.
This is not to be confused with last years leaked of a mystery Harry Potter RPG game. Twitter user @TheZealman uploaded a side-by-side comparison between the leaked Harry Potter Game and Magic Awakened. You can instantly distinguish the different art styles, one looking more like a cartoonish style with the leaked Harry Potter game in full 3D.
