Riot Games has once again released a developer video outlining the upcoming skins and events in season 2020. This video contains lots of amazing information about the future of season 2020, as well as new features. You can find the new Riot Games clip below.

Jonathan Belliss, the product lead for personalization on the development team, clarified some of the reasoning behind the decision making when releasing new skins. Popular champions are quite frequently the recipient of new skins. This attracts as much of the player base as possible, thus providing Riot Games with the most substantial income. This does means however that many champions like Rek’Sai, Taliyah, Skarner, and Kindred rarely get new skins. In 2020 Riot plans to alter this by releasing skins for the less popular champions among others.
