Players will face off in a dynamic card battle where they must strategise and out-think their opponents, similar to the most popular card game, Hearthstone created by Blizzard.
Shortly after the anniversary event, Riot Games allowed all those interested in playing Rune of Runeterra to pre-register and have a chance to play their closed beta version. Now Riot Games feels it is the right time to open the doors and give everyone access to the much-hyped card game.
Rune of Runeterra open beta will go live on 24th January 2020 at 1 pm (CT). Early access members of the closed beta and for those who registered their interest to play LoR, will be able to play one day earlier.
Users will have up to 2am (CT) on 20th January to pre-register if they would like to have the same opportunity to play LoR, one day before the beta goes live.
However, for those wanting to play the mobile version will have to wait for a little longer.
All progress made during the closed beta will be reset but any progress made during the open beta will be carried forward once the game is officially released.
