True Damage seeks help from a former member of K/DA as Soyeon of (G)I-dle joins them for LoL 2019 World Championship
Riot Games is hard at work, planning the closing ceremony at this year’s World 2019 tournament as we get closer to finding which team will be crowned champions. Opening the closing ceremony last year, pop sensation K/DA stunned the world with their hit track POP/STARS, It also featured new Augmented Reality technology which saw four of League of Legends champions burst into life.
This year, it has been announced that the successor to K/DA will be a fictional band, True Damage.

True Damage Line-up
Yasuo, Qiyana, Akali, new champion Senna, and Ekko will make up the fictional group, True Damage. With Akali wildly speculated the same character from K/DA. But with the return of Soyeon of (G)I-dle who voiced the champion Akali, confirms this to be true.

Joining Soyeon is Becky G, Keke Palmer, Thutmose and Duckwrth, all musicians from America. Thutmose and Duckwrth are popular rappers whereas Becky G is known for RnB singles and her acting abilities. Keke Palmer is best known for her role on Nickelodeon’s True Jackson, VP.
The Semifinals of LoL World Championship gets underway this weekend, 2nd November as the four remaining teams FunPlus Phoenix, SK Telecom T1, G2 Esports and reigning champions Invictus Gaming battle it out to become the 2019 World Champion.
