DW (Winner) Vs INF
DW Vs EDG (Winner)[

It would seem team Invictus did not benefit from having extra preparation time as they lost both of their opening games to EDG and DW. They will finish bottom in the first part of the double round robin.

With one win each EDG and DW faced off against each other to see who will clinch the top spot. It was a close-fought battle, with both teams competing for Baron towards the end of the game, left the bottom lane wide open for EDG Ray to advance forward and destroy DW Nexus to win the game. EDG finishes top with 2 wins out of 2.

Results Of Group B Matchups

G2 Vs SUP (Winner)
ASC Vs SUP (Winner)
ASC Vs G2 (Winner)

SUP won there first ever worlds game defeating their opponents G2 and currently claims the top spot. ASC will play their first game again SUP, can SUP make it a clean sweep? Short answer, yes! Although ASC controlled the game, they made one huge mistake which enabled SUP to take advantage and win their second match, marking their position at the top of group B.

With both ASC and G2 losing the match and still yet to face each other both teams are looking for their first win.

Who will be victorious and claim 2nd spot?

ASC started off well, grouping up and picking off G2 and even getting a crucial double kill. However, they lost the 50/50 baron which in hindsight was a poor decision and handed G2 the advantage. With the power of the baron buff and all the ASC players falling during the baron battle, G2 dealt too much damage to ASC base and claimed their first win of the Worlds 2018 Play-Ins.

Day 3 of the tournament will start at 18:00pm (KST Korea Standard Time) equivalent to  UTC(Coordinated Universal Time) +9 where we will see the return of yesterday teams competing in the second part of the double round robin.
