Switch’s upcoming remake of classic The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, teases hungry fans with a small glimpse of in-game gameplay.

Link and the Hyrule Princess Zelda have been morphed from its original Game Boy version and reborn and incarnated onto Nintendo’s Switch platform, 26 years after it was first released.

Finding himself washed up on the mysterious Koholint Island, Link must overcome treacherous obstacles and conquer gruelling dungeons whilst fending off the island monsters in order to return back home.

Nintendo Switch’s remake will include many unique elements from the original but also adding new features like the all-new Chamber Dungeon. Allowing players to collect Chamber Stones in which they can arrange them into custom layouts.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has only just over two weeks away from being released and another round of videos showing off exclusive gameplay emerges online. Capturing a glimpse of the remastered and redesign of the Key Cavern and Slime Eye boss.

Players will be able to play the full release version at the stroke of midnight, heading into 20th September 2019. With beefed-up graphics and extra details compared to its original counterpart, the game size is considerably bigger, so make sure you have enough space on your Nintendo Switch. The game download size is 6.13GB.
