New Soulbound Trait and Three Additional Champions Heads To TFT Set 2

Discover the first major update to Teamfight Tactics: Set 2 Rise of the Elements as new Soulbound Class sends units to the Spirit Realm. Plus, all the information on the TFT Set 2 newest members, Amumu, Senna and Lucian.

For the past few weeks, TFT Set 2 has transitioned smoothly from Set 1. Freshening up the auto chess game mode with new traits, units and new Elemental Hexes. Although Riot Games have spent time balancing traits and units, it is time for TFT Set 2: Rise of the Elements first major update.

This includes a brand-new Soulbound Class Trait, Three additional units, Amumu, Lucian and Senna. And all the latest units and trait changes.



TFT Set 2: Soulbound Trait

Soulbound will allow Soulbound units to fight past their own mortal limits. Allowing them to continue to fight from the spirit realm as long as there is still another Soulbound unit alive on the board.

Soulbound

(2) The first Soulbound unit to die in a round will instead enter the Spirit Realm, becoming untargetable and continuing to fight as long as another Soulbound unit is alive. 

Two of the three new units will be only two units from the Soulbound traits. Lucian and his wife Senna.

TFT Set 2: Amumu, Lucian and Senna

Amumu

Cost: 5
Origin: Inferno
Class: Warden
Ability: Curse of the Sad Mummy – Amumu’s rage explodes, dealing 250/500/1337 magic damage to enemies within 2/3/4 Hexes, and stunning them for 1.5 seconds. 

Amumu will provide Inferno traits with a tanky frontline option to protect other Inferno units.


Lucian

Cost: 4
Origin: Light
Class: Soulbound
Ability: The Culling – Lucian fires at 4 times his normal Attacks Per Second in a direction for 4 seconds, each attacking for 20/30/50% of his AD, applying on-hits, and dealing 30/40/50 magic damage. 

Returning to the TFT board but this time has a new special skill that makes him a very good single-target DPS unit.


Senna

Cost: 2
Origin: Shadow
Class: Soulbound
Ability: Piercing Darkness – Senna fires a beam through her furthest ally, dealing 50/100/150 magic damage to enemies, and buffing allies’ on-hits for 5 seconds to deal 25/45/65 magic damage from Senna. 

They say opposites attract? Although Senna Origin is the complete opposite from her husband Lucian, however, they’re the perfect synergy when they are together. Activating both of there Soulbound trait, bounding them beyond life and death, whilst pairing up with Senna ability for extra protection.

Ashe Ivern Lux Malphite Maokai Sivir Varus Yorick

Ashe Changes

  • Damage per arrow increased from 25/30/35% to 30/40/50%

Ivern Changes

  • Shield lowered from 200/350/500 to 200/300/400

Lux Changes

  • Damage increased from 500/800/9999 to 600/900/9999

Malphite Changes

  • Damage increased from 125/200/275 to 150/300/1000

Maokai Changes

  • Heal lowered from 100/175/250 to 100/150/200

Sivir Changes

  • Ricochet duration increased from 5s to 7s

Varus Changes

  • Damage increased from 225/400/675 to 250/500/750

Yorick Changes

  • Minion health changed from 600/1000/1400 to 600/900/1800

Beserker Cloud Electric Inferno Light Ranger Shadow Summoner

Beserker Changes

  • 6 Champ now also gain 50 AD

Cloud Changes

  • 2 champ dodge chance increased from 15% to 20%
  • 3 champ dodge chance increased from 20% to 25%
  • 4 champ dodge chance increased from 30% to 35%

Electric Changes

  • 2 unit shock damage increased from 70 to 100
  • 3 unit shock damage increased from 250 to 300

Inferno Changes

  • Now procs on crits
  • Hex burn duration lowered from 5s to 4s
  • 3 champ damage lowered from 80% to 70%
  • 6 champ
    • damage lowered from 175% to 120%
    • now burns 3 hexes
  • 9 champ
    • damage lowered from 275% to 180%
    • now burns 5 hexes

Light Changes

  • 3 champ attack speed on death increased from 10% to 15%
  • 6 champ attack speed on death increased from 20% to 25%

Ranger Changes

  • 2 champ chance to double attack speed increased from 30% to 35%
  • 4 champ chance to double attack speed increased from 60% to 80%
  • 6 champs now gives chance at 2.5x attack speed

Shadow Changes

  • 3 champs: 70% increased damage, self takedown
  • 6 champs: 140% increased damage, any Shadow takedown

Summoner Changes

  • 3 champ increased summon health and duration lowered from 40% to 30%
  • 6 champ increased summon health and duration increased from 100% to 120%
