Celebrating Pokemon Day with a special Nintendo Direct event, The Pokemon Company alongside Nintendo revealed its upcoming Game called Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield.
Pokemon Sword and Shield will be released in late 2019 and will be set in a new region declared Galar. The game receives a pre-order price currently set at $59.99 and will feature three new eighth generation starter Pokemon.
The trailer shows the breathtaking new scenery, impressive Pokemon battles, A handful of Sun and Moon Pokemon and so much more.
Pokemon Sword and shield are both directed by Shigeru Ohmori, who previously directed Sun and Moon plus the popular Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. The game pair appear to be bringing back random encounters and Gyms, among other things.
The Pokemon Company first announced upcoming RPG titles back at e3 2017, Yet the first set of games received were Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee released in November 2018. Intended as a remake of sorts of the original Pokemon Yellow, the Let’s Go series intelligently merged elements from the mobile Pokemon Go game to help streamline new players into the main series.
