Pokemon Go Community Day April Features Shiny Bagon

Grab the chance to encounter Shiny Bagon during the community event along with event bonuses in the 3-hour window

The Dragon-type Pokémon Bagon features in Pokémon Go Community Day in April, appearing more frequently in the wild. As per usual, you will have a 3-hour period of event bonuses, a rare chance to encounter shiny Pokémon and learn special moves.

Pokémon Go Community Day Times

In your local time, Pokémon Go Community Day April will start on the 13th of April from 3:00 p.m. and will finish three hours later at 6:00 p.m.

Shiny Bagon

Bagon is a Dragon-type Pokémon and is part of the 3rd Generation that has a very diverse skill set. Learning Fire, Dark and Dragon-type moves. Making the Pokémon one of effective Dragon Pokemon to target other Pokemon vulnerabilities.

Although the Dragon-type Pokémon is unable to fly, evolving Bagon to its final stage of evolution, Salamence, and will see the Pokémon sprout wings and sore to the skies. Salamence will also be able to learn the Water-type move Hydro Pump adding to its already diverse sets of abilities.

Remember to keep an eye for Shiny Bagon. If you desire a Shiny Salamence you will need to evolve your Shiny Bagon and Shiny Shelgon thereafter.

Bagon Evolutions

Evolving Shelgon, Bagon first evolution stage before evolving the Pokémon into Salamence will know the Pokemon Go Community Day April exclusive move. The special move is currently not known, but we will update as soon as we have details.

You will need to collect Bagon Pokémon Candies in order to evolve the Dragon Pokémon by capturing Bagon over and over again. Luckily, you will see more frequent encounters. The requirement to evolve Bagon into Shelgon is 25 candies and a further 100 candies to evolve Shelgon into Salamence.

Other Bonuses

During the three-hour window, you will experience three times catch XP and 3-hour lures. This is the perfect time to grab yourself a non-legendary dragon that offers a varied skill set.
