Niantic became really busy updating and optimizing their servers to help cope with the masses of users they have attracted. Bugs also had to be fixed to make sure the provided the best gaming experience as well as adding new content to keep users entertained and interested.
Back in August, Niantic head of European marketing Anne Beuttenmuller announced the team was still working on the Trainer Battle hoping it will be released by the end of the year. Now it looks like it is finally ready.
At long last, Pokemon Go users can fight in the new PVP (Player versus Player) mode utilizing creative strategical tactics against their friends. This provides users with more incentive to try and level up their Pokémon to prove how strong or powerful their Pokémon is. Everyone wants to try and be the best right?
This would mean players would have to remain active and play Pokémon more regularly if they wish to dominate their friends.
With more users active and eager to train or capture new Pokemon in Pokemon Go, can only be good news for Niantic. Users may be more inclined to purchase items to help speed up the process from the in-game store which will result in more profit for Niantic.
