Pokémon Go Community Day June
Each community day event is routinely around the normal time of 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in your local time, providing trainers with a 3-hour window to enjoy the event bonuses. Pokémon Go June Community Day will feature around the same time on 8th June 2019.
The sloth-like Pokémon will be June Community Day featured Pokémon which means players will enjoy frequent encounters of Slakoth. If you are lucky, a Shiny Slakoth may appear, giving you a chance to add the Normal-type Pokémon to your Pokédex.
The slacker Pokémon has two evolutions, Vigoroth and Slaking. If you haven’t managed to evolve your Slakoth Pokémon yet, this will be an ideal opportunity to collect Pokémon Candy to help evolve your Pokémon. Trainers can capture many Slakoth’s due to the increased encounter rate during June Community Event.
25 Candy are required to evolve Slakoth into Vigoroth. A further 100 candies are required to evolve your Vigoroth into Slaking. If you manage to encounter a Shiny Slakoth, you will be able to evolve your Shiny Pokémon to obtain a Shiny Vigoroth and then into a Shiny Slaking.
June Community Day Bonuses
Other bonuses trainers will enjoy during the 3-hour event are the typical three-hour lures. Normally lures last for an hour but during the event window, the lure duration is increased to 3 hours.
Each Pokémon Go player can also experience 1/4 egg hatch distance bonus. Therefore, hatching a 10 km will hatch at 2.5 km. Allowing you to hatch more eggs on your familiar walking routine.
