The beautiful thing about Ninja Elementalist is there are multiple variations, in which all units are a very real threat to your opponents. Depending on how your game has turned out you could be running a 6 Assassin variant, three Assassins with Kennen (Youmuu’s Ghostblade) or traditional. Itemization is very flexible, however, Seraphs’s Embrace and Hextech Gunblade is recommended for Akali. Additionally, if you intend to turn Kennen into an Assassin, you’ll obviously need a Ghostblade.

Build Strategy TFT 9.19

Noble Knights is a powerful late-game team composition, utilizing a strong balance between the defensive strengths of Knights/Nobles with rapid Gunslinger offense. In the early stages of the game, it’s best to try and grab the Knight trait along with Gunslingers until you can transition into more traits. Placing the new Thief’s Gloves on either one of your Gunslingers will help ensure that both Jinx and Lucian remain relevant in end game scenarios. The Gunslinger not holding Thief’s Gloves should carry opponent decaying items like Hush, Cursed Blade, and Sword Breaker.

Traits

3 Elementalist 3 Sorcerer 3 Yordle 2 Demon 2 Glacial 2 Knight 1 Ninja

Build Strategy TFT 9.19

Also known as the Open Fort strategy, Elemental Sorcerer’s aim is to not win games, but to consistently get top 4. It achieves this by purposely losing the early game in favor of gold and first pick on the carousel. Accumulate as much gold as you can in the opening stages, even if this means fielding zero units. Once you reach the Krugs round you’ll want to have 50 gold, at this stage you will need to buy a team to defeat the round. Hopefully, you’ll pick up units that make up some part of the Elemental Sorcerers, especially Kennen. In the first two carousel picks you’ll want to get the ingredients for a Guardian Angel or Redemption. It’s up to you when you decide to start rolling for required units and levels, just don’t leave it too late that you can’t recover.

The hard carry in this team comp is the heavily invested Kennen, Between GA and Redemption Kennen will become a sticky unit that will pop off in fights!

  • Shyvana: Dashes away from her current target and transforms into dragon form. While in dragon form, Shyvana’s Basic Attacks become ranged, she gains Attack Damage, and her Basic Attacks burn her enemies for 3 seconds, dealing magic damage. [3-cost unit]
  • Warwick: Pounces onto the lowest health enemy, stunning, damaging, and applying on-hit effects while healing himself. [1-cost unit]
  • Ahri: Fires an orb in a line that returns to her, damaging enemies it passes through. [2-cost unit]

Trait

4 Wild 3 Shapeshifter 3 Yordle 3 Sorcerer 2 Dragon

Build Strategy TFT 9.19

To maximize the strengths of this build you will need specific items. The new Yordle Item – Mittens is a must for Aurelion Sol along with Guardian Angel on at least one of your Shapeshifters. Ideally, grabbing a Morellonomicon and Titanic Hydra will bolster your damage for hard-fought end game battles. Early game, start out with Wild trait by using Warwick, Nidalee or Ahri and prioritize Spatula, B.F Sword or Chain Vest in the opening carousel. By mid-game try to transition into tier 2 Shapeshifter units with at least one holding GA (Shyvana is a perfect choice).

  • Pyke: Dashes behind the furthest enemy, creating an afterimage that stuns enemies it passes through. [2-cost unit]

Traits

6 Assassins 4 Void 2 Brawler 1 Ninja

Build Strategy TFT 9.19

Void Assassins is ever bit as powerful as it was in patch 9.18, there’s however, a few changes that we must make to ensure all Voids are dealing true damage. Kai’Sa’s introduction to the Void line up caused Riot Games to change how the Void trait functions. You’ll now need to acquire four Voids instead of the three in patch 9.18.

Kassadin will be your primary carry and will need to be turned into an Assassin to reach the 6 trait checkmark. Items on him should look like – Youmuu’s Ghostblade, RapidFire Cannon, Infinity Edge although you can experiment at your leisure. Talking of experimenting, patch 9.19 now has Sparring Gloves which make some pretty interesting item combos. One in particular, Jeweled Gauntlet can be placed on a Void unit to not only do true damage but their abilities can also crit. Kha’zix is a prime example as to how this can get a little crazy, Assassin trait provides Crit damage boost, Kha’Zix Isolation bonus damage with an ability that can now also crit is a recipe for one mean strike. Additionally, Pyke is also a great unit to place the newly buffed Frozen Heart on as his ability will spread the slow around.
