Teamfight Tactics Set 2 Rise of the Elements will be receiving its very last patch this week where will see the final adjustments before Set 2 makes way for TFT following chapter, TFT Set 3 Galaxies.

Teased last week, the upcoming Set 3 Galaxies for TFT will see the auto chess battling game receive a major overhaul similar to when TFT Set 2 was unveiled. Players can expect some new champions, returning champions will new set of skills, new Traits, new TFT Maps, Little Legends, a giant Super Mech Unit and more surprises along the way.

What We Know About TFT Set 3 Galaxies So Far

Similar to Set 2 of Teamfight Tactics, there will be major changes to champions and traits. Introducing different styles of gameplay and mechanics. So far, there has only been a few units and traits revealed ahead of TFT Set 3 arrival, including a new Super Mech unit that can be spawn by having three champions that have the new Mech Pilot trait.

New Champions, Items and Traits Coming to TFT Set 3 Galaxies

Further information on Teamfight Tactics Set 3 Galaxies was shared via Twitch stream by Riot Mort, a Principal Game Designer at Riot Games & Lead Designer of Teamfight Tactics.

Riot Mort confirmed a lot of hard work went into creating new beautiful maps for TFT Set 3. Providing an overall freshness and aesthetically pleasing environment that blends into the galaxy-themed setting.

Players will also be able to get their hand on new Little Legends when TFT set 3 arrives. Although, Riot Mort did not share further details on the visuals of new Little Legends, however, he could not hide his excitement about the new taunts the new Little Legends will have. What the new taunt entails will remain a mystery until the new set arrives on LoL PBE Server.

In addition, a couple of TFT items are set to receive major changes. Again, Riot Mort kept tight-lipped to keep the hype train going, until TFT 3 is officially unveiled.

Update: Riot Mort reveal more information on TFT Set 3 Galaxies whilst he was streaming the mobile version of Teamfight Tactics, revealing more details on the new Super Mech unit. If you have Fizz, Annie and Rumbles, who are all Mech Pilots, they will merge into a powerful Super Mech Unit that will keep the stats of all three merged units. During the stream, Riot Mort elaborated on what will happen when the Super Mech Unit dies? Simply put, it will turn back into three individual units. In addition, there will be even more items to change and adapt your strategical tactics in the auto chess game.

Like with any new features and updates, during closed testing, there are still a fair amount of bugs still present in TFT Set 3 galaxies. Hopefully, these can all be ironed out during the PBE testing phase before it officially launches on LoL Live server on 18th March providing everything goes according to plan.

Rank games will be available as soon TFT Set 3 Galaxies launches so there will be no need to wait for a month to jump into a ranked play.

When is TFT Set 3 Available?

Users should be able to play TFT Set 3 Galaxies on LoL PBE by 4th March on the same day the last patch for Teamfight Tactics Set 2 goes live. It should make its way to Riot Games live server by March 18th.
